PentenAmio takes home the trophy for ‘Cyber & IT Business of the Year’ at Circle2Success Regional Business Awards

Just weeks after long-standing partners Penten and Amiosec merged to form PentenAmio, the business found itself a finalist in an impressive three award categories back in May, including ‘Best Place to Work’, and ‘Early Careers & Apprenticeships’, before going on to lift the trophy for ‘Cyber & IT Business of the Year’ in June.

The Circel2Success Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have achieved excellence in business, innovative thinking, and authentic leadership across the South West of the UK. This year’s awards saw more than 300 entries, with only six finalists in each category. Circle2Success have described 2025 as ‘the most competitive year to date’.

PentenAmio’s taking home of the ‘Cyber & IT Business of the Year’ award is an incredibly proud win that celebrates brave exploration, and the forward-thinking mindset required to deliver the technical excellence required in everything PentenAmio does.

Graham Maycock, UK Delivery Director, gladly shared: “Winning this award is a powerful reflection of the cutting-edge technology and innovation that we deliver to our customers. Across the business, our talented people make a real difference through the work they do, ultimately ensuring that people and information remain safe in our shared mission to protect those who protect us.”

Winning ‘Cyber & IT Business of the Year’ – an award that is so focused on the incredible capabilities and services developed and delivered across the business – is something the entire PentenAmio team can be proud to be part of.

Hannah Burtwell, UK People Director also added: “We employ hundreds of talented experts, and it’s their passion, drive and dedication to their work, and to each other, that really shapes who we are as a business. Being recognised this way is a true reflection of our commitment, not just to innovation and technology, but also to our culture and environment.”

Just weeks after this exceptional win in the UK, the PentenAmio team in Australia has also been busy racking up recognition and wins overseas.

Group Executive Director & CEO Australia, Sarah Bailey, picked up the win for ‘Female Defence Leader of the Year’ at this year’s Australian Defence Awards, also making it to the finalist stage in the ‘Executive of the Year’ category. This award recognises the importance of authentic leadership, while confirming what people at PentenAmio already know – Sarah is an exceptional leader making a real impact across our global business, as well as defence and national security.

Engineering Manager for the RF Systems Team, Connor Brendish, was also recognised as part of the Australian Defence Industry Awards, as a finalist in the ‘Engineer of the Year’ category, highlighting his exceptional work leading the design, development, and delivery of mission-ready tools for deception and cyber resilience.

Seeing PentenAmio and its people acknowledged in so many ways, both in the UK and Australia, is a testament to the commitment of the entire workforce. Moments like these remind those working here why they do what they do – and why building the right team is such a crucial part of this.
