PentenAmio is proud to have joined the Certa Cito Foundation and the Royal Australian Corps of Signals in celebrating 100 years of service, innovation, and resilience with the unveiling of a commemorative sculpture at Simpson Barracks, Watsonia.
Created in partnership with the Certa Cito Foundation, the official charity of the Corps, the sculpture honours not just a century of achievements but also the people, serving members, veterans, and families, who have built and sustained the Signals community. Certa Cito provides vital support to current and former members and their families, while also preserving and commemorating the Corps’ rich history.
Co-designed by members of the Signals community, including serving personnel, veterans, their families, and PentenAmio’s own team of veteran signallers, the sculpture embodies the collective spirit that defines the Corps. It stands as a powerful symbol of connection, contribution, and shared purpose.
The unveiling was attended by dignitaries and Defence leaders, with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, joining the celebration to recognise the Corps’ enduring legacy. Our Group Executive Director and CEO Australia, Sarah Bailey, was honoured to lay a poppy as part of the ceremony, representing her deep respect for the work of the Corps.
The Corps’ motto, “Swift and Sure,” captures the agility and precision essential to military communications. At PentenAmio, that ethos resonates deeply. Our work in delivering sovereign technologies mirrors this commitment by enabling Australia’s defenders to operate securely and effectively across an evolving digital landscape.
Every element of the sculpture reflects this shared dedication to innovation and collaboration. Its six faces are adorned with symbols and codes: Morse code, sine wave, binary, and Murray code, representing the spectrum of communication and the evolution of the Signals trade. Together, they tell a story of both the Corps’ and PentenAmio’s missions: to connect, protect, and adapt.
This sculpture is more than a commemorative artwork. It is a living story of collaboration, community, and purpose. It honours the people behind the mission, the families who stand beside them, and the legacy of innovation that continues to shape the future of secure communications.
At PentenAmio, we are honoured to have played a part in celebrating this milestone, standing alongside those who serve.
