Kristian Howard

Kristian is a successful executive with a proven record of technical, relational and stakeholder-management skills in leading teams to deliver complex modernisation tasks in challenging environments. 

His career includes appointments in the Australian Defence Force and Defence Industry, the US Department of Defense (Army) and NATO across a wide range of technology specialisations, with a strong background in telecommunications, technology innovation, systems engineering, program and operations management. He is a founding executive of Penten (now PentenAmio) and currently leads multidisciplinary teams for the Australian Delivery Unit for secure-mobility platforms, AI-driven cyber defence and electronic deception solutions to our customers. 

Kristian is Chair of the Australian Defence Information and Electronic Systems Association (ADIESA), facilitating increased collaboration between Industry, Defence and Government. He also serves as a Director and Treasurer on the Certa Cito Foundation (CCF), a registered Australian charity dedicated to caring, connecting and commemorating our vibrant Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RASigs) community. 

Kristian is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a Master of Systems Engineering, a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (Honours) and a range of industry certifications.
