Adrian Cunningham named Finalist for Alan Turing Cyber Leadership Award

We are proud to share that Adrian Cunningham, our Co-Founder and Executive Co-Chair, has been named a finalist in the Alan Turing Cyber Leadership Award category for the 2026 National Cyber Awards.

Founded in 2019, The National Cyber Awards recognise the individuals, teams and organisations driving meaningful progress in cybersecurity across the UK, spanning innovation, leadership and real-world impact. The event brings together leaders from across industry, government, law enforcement and academia at a time when cyber threats continue to evolve, and the need for resilience across organisations and critical infrastructure has never been greater.

Adrian’s career has been defined by his commitment to advancing cyber security and enabling organisations to operate securely in increasingly complex threat environments. His leadership in developing secure mobility capabilities has transformed the way government, defence and national security organisations access and work with sensitive information.

This recognition reflects Adrian’s outstanding contribution to the cyber security sector and reinforces PentenAmio’s commitment to delivering innovative technologies that strengthen national security and improve the digital resilience of government and defence organisations worldwide.

Reflecting on the announcement, Adrian stated “I’m honoured and humbled to be named a finalist for the Alan Turing Cyber Leadership Award. Throughout my career I have been driven by a simple purpose: helping to protect those who protect us by giving customers the confidence to operate securely in an increasingly complex and contested world.”

Adrian joins an exceptional group of leaders shortlisted for the Alan Turing Cyber Leadership Award, which recognises senior technical leaders who have made a significant contribution to improving the digital safety of society.

“While this recognition is incredibly meaningful, it is ultimately a reflection of the talented people, partners and customers I have had the privilege of working with and learning from throughout that journey” Adrian added. “I’m proud to be recognised alongside such an inspiring group of leaders and remain committed to advancing the cyber and secure technology capabilities that are so critical to our collective security, resilience and future prosperity.”

The winner will be announced at the National Cyber Awards ceremony on 28 September at the Royal Lancaster London.
