PentenAmio and L3Harris Team to Advance Sovereign Crypt Capability and Innovation in Australia, Canada, and the UK

We are pleased to announce a new strategic teaming agreement with L3Harris Technologies to enable secure, mobile access to classified information for government and defence customers across Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other allied nations.

The collaboration sees us co-developing and delivering Prime Crypt Key solutions that integrate L3Harris’ trusted CATAPAN encryption products, our AltoCrypt secure mobility technologies, and jointly developed capabilities. The teaming will create a seamless customer experience across hardware, software, services, and support.

“By combining two sovereign encryption portfolios, we’re unlocking scale, agility, and mission relevance,” said Sarah Bailey, Group Executive Director, PentenAmio. “This is about delivering integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of allied governments and defence organisations and doing it quickly and reliably.”

Why This Matters

  • Combines two sovereign encryption portfolios into a Prime-ready solution
  • Unlocks scale and product breadth to better compete internationally
  • Creates a joined-up customer experience across hardware, software, and services
  • Drives innovation to keep ahead of the post-quantum threat
  • Positions both parties for deeper mission partner engagement with allied governments

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, interoperability, and sovereign capability development, and positions us to become a designated Prime Crypt Mission Partner for our authorities and customers.

Initial efforts include continued joint development of the Symmetric Key Manager (SKM), which enables secure, over-the-network key generation for classified environments. SKM is highly sustainable with no physical media required and has no ITAR restrictions, making it easier to export and use amongst trusted international allies. This supports high-tempo operations, eliminates physical risk, and eradicates a costly, resource-intensive physical keying process.
