PentenAmio Wins Australian AI Innovator of the Year for TrapRadio

This week, PentenAmio was honoured to receive the AI Innovator of the Year – Defence and National Security award at the Momentum Media Australian AI Awards, recognising excellence in artificial intelligence across Australian business and industry.

This award recognises the cutting-edge technology behind TrapRadio and, more importantly, the incredible team who brought it to life.

TrapRadio redefines what’s possible in electronic warfare. Designed for users in contested, high-threat environments, it uses AI to create dynamic, intelligent decoys that mislead adversaries, protect real assets, and improve survivability. Unlike traditional decoy systems that rely on static recordings, TrapRadio’s AI generates realistic, evolving radio traffic with unique behavioural profiles, making its signals virtually indistinguishable from genuine systems.

Built with a deep understanding of the user, TrapRadio transforms complex technology into an intuitive, field-ready capability that can be operated confidently by non-specialist users under pressure. This innovation has been validated through rigorous testing and has been hailed as “groundbreaking” by senior customers.
