AI Software Engineer of the Year: Connor Brendish

Connor’s pivotal work on TrapRadio, along with his outstanding contributions to PentenAmio, his team, and the broader Australian defence industry, make him a deserving finalist. This nomination is a testament to both his technical achievements and his dedication.

This recognition builds on our strong track record at the Australian AI Awards. In 2024, Kiriya Keat was named AI Software Engineer of the Year, prior to the merger that formed PentenAmio. Having finalists in this category for two years in a row highlights our ongoing commitment to advancing AI for national security and enhancing Australia’s cyber resilience through cutting-edge technology and strategic vision.
