Matt Thomas

Matt is a Business and Technology leader with over 18 years experience in Cyber and Tech across public and private sectors delivering Cyber and Security Technology products, services and programmes.

Matt joined PentenAmio April 2025 upon completion of the Amiosec and Penten merger, as CEO of the UK Operations, taking over from Adrian Cunningham.

Matt previously led QinetiQ’s Cyber and National Security business before joining NCC Group 6 1/2 years ago to initially grow their Government and Public Sector business and latterly leading their UK, Iberia and Nordics business.

Matt’s commercial experience is underpinned by a Masters in Electronic Engineering, starting his career as an applied research Engineer working with groundbreaking scientific and technical innovation. This culminated in several publications, a patent, Chartership of Engineering, and Doctorate of Engineering combined with MBA training from Cranfield Business School.
